What is the cost of an business or headshot portrait session?

John Ansell Photography Headshot session is $195. This includes a clothing consultation and a 30 minute session with choice of backgrounds and a high resolution retouched digital file of your choosing supplied to your requirements. You may choose your selected image at the time of the session
Additional images from that session and chosen at the time are $30 per image.

We also offer a more extensive session for $295 that includes more clothing changes as well as online proofing to allow you to make your selection at home or to seek opinions from others. It also allows for the option of outdoor portraits.

Do I need makeup and hairstyling for my portrait ?

For women. We do recommend ladies have professional make up done but you can of course do your own. We work with local makeup artists who can assist you. If you choose to do your own then a light evening make up is suitable. Keep it simple and we will make sure you look your best. Natural and minimal is great.

For Men . A light face powder to reduce shine from oils in the skin and to reduce imperfections can be used if you wish.

For both men and women we suggest a light trim or haircut before your portrait session. It’s best not to try out that new radical haircut the day before your session.

How much retouching do you do?

Your selected images are retouched as necessary. We soften any obvious lines or blemishes so you look natural and relaxed. Your portrait should reflect who you really are.

It’s you looking your absolute best. For special requests don’t hesitate to talk to us.

Can I get my headshots in black and white?

Certainly, we can convert your photos to black and white at no extra charge. We will adjust the contrast and tones of the photo to make them look fantastic in either color or black and white.

Can I get a print of my image?

Yes, just let us know what size you require and we will have our professional lab print them for you. We will supply you with files suitable for taking to your own graphic designer or printer.

What is the turnaround on receiving my images once I have picked my shots?

We strive to get retouched images back within 3 business days. If you need them sooner, we offer a 24 hour turnaround for a $55 rush charge. They will be supplied to you either by email or on DVD.

Can John Ansell Photography come to my business for the portraits ?

Absolutely, just let us know what it is you need and we can bring either a portable backdrop or create in business environmental style portraits for you. Costs may vary according to location and style of portrait as well as numbers of employees.

Do you provide matching headshots across different offices in our business?

Yes we can certainly provide a consistent image for your employees across all your locations. It’s part of the difference having a professional portrait taken by John Ansell Photography.
